NEW MISSION

My name is Péter Meronka. In 2002, they first made a TV show about highland games – in first hungarian Highland Games Championship. I immediately fell in love with this sport. Ten years later, I met Francis Brebner. He doesn’t only legend, he organizer lot of games. With the help of him and hungarian CEO Ádám Darázs, we make a TV show in the world every year. I collected these movies on this website.

But most of the programs language are in hungarian. I hope everyone will still like it. I have already learned English. I hope this will be seen in the movies soon 🙂 This is my second mission!

SORRY, COVID19 HAD TO CHANGE THE 2020'S PLANS. NOW HERE IS THE NEW PLAN. I'M SORRY - AND THANK YOU FOR PATIENCE.

The IHGF World Cup Series gets special attention in the regional TV, here in Hungary. Besides, we have the opportunity to show doesn’t only the events but also to introduce the host countries. It planned to be a series by 27 episodes, broadcasted every Saturday from 7th February 2021. The host countries and Scotland, as the birthplace of the games, will be presented in 2-4 minutes in each episodes. EP 1-9 are about the French, EP 10-18 are about the Swiss and EP 19-27 are about the Norwegian competitions. The films will also be posted here on the website after the premiere.

Maybe in english language. This is my new plan. I hope it goes well. I’m working this.
